1. High Insulation for more Comfort
Low U Value of 2.30 W/m²·K, this Sheet provides Excellent Thermal Insulation. The Multiple Air Gaps act as Natural Barriers since Air is a Slow Conductor of Heat, significantly Reducing Heat Transfer into your home. This means Cooler Interiors and Less Reliance on Air Conditioning, especially under Malaysia’s Hot and Humid Climate.
2. Infrared (IR) Blocking Technology
The Sheet is manufactured with a Special IR Blocking Additive that reduces Infrared Radiation responsible for Heat Build Up. This Advanced Technology resulted in the sheet Subtle Green Tint -proof of its Heat Reducing Capability. When installed High up as a Skylight or Awning, the Tint is Hardly Noticeable, but the Cooling Comfort can be Clearly Felt.

Despite nearly the Same Weight, the Lexan™ Thermoclear™ SCIR 10 mm 5 Walls design delivers far Superior Stiffness and Insulation due to its Multiple Chambers and optimized Structural Distribution. Each Internal Rib is only around 50 microns Thick, a Result of Advanced Extrusion Technology that forms Multiple Insulating Air Gaps without adding unnecessary Weight.

Installation Guide Lexan Thermoclear™ SCIR 10 mm 5 Walls
Maximum Building Height : The Sheet is Calculated and Proven for Applications up to 8 meters (26.25 feet) in Building Height.
Wind Load Resistance:
Tested against 600 N/m² Wind Loading, equivalent to Maximum Strong Wind and near Storm Level Conditions in Malaysia.
Maximum Recommended Panel Size:
Supported on all 4 sides with a Metal Frame, the Maximum Sheet Size is:
1200 mm (width) x 1800 mm (length).
Within these Dimensions, the Lexan™ Thermoclear™ SCIR 10mm 5 Wall Sheet remains Flat with No Sagging or Wavy Appearance over time.
⚠️ Important Note:
If the Structural size goes beyond the Recommended Dimensions, the Multi Wall Sheet will be Prone to Sagging, and the Wind Load Resistance may Fail.
